On Sunday 26th of April, the Woodland Trust will be hosting a guided walk around its reserve at Duncliffe Wood, near Shaftesbury. This will be a great opportunity to see a natural woodland habitat in full Spring bloom, and to learn about the various plants and animals to be found within it. There will also be fun activities for all the family, and you will be able to take home your very own packet of wildflower seeds!
The Woodland Trust are kind enough to supply CATCH with coppiced hazel for use in future riverbank projects, and one of our committee members is also a volunteer at Duncliffe Wood, so we are happy to support and promote this project. This is a free event, but places are limited so please call or email to reserve your spot.
