Part of the group’s work is to regularly ‘kick sample’, the river. ‘Kick sampling’, involves recording the entemology within the river, this gives a good idea of the general health of the river and acts as an early warning system for any pollution issues. On every second Friday of the month, usually from April through to October, trained members of the group meet to record samples. We are more than happy for interested parties to join us for these sampling sessions. If you’d like to learn more please contact us.
