Come one, come all, to join in with CATCH’s litter-pick and removal of invasive Himalayan Balsam from the recreation groundthis coming Sunday July 6th; fun and fresh air for all the family. All you need to bring is enthusiasm, wellies (the riverbanks can be quite muddy), gloves and something to drink – feel free to also bring cakes to share, there will hopefully be a plentiful supply!
This is CATCH’s first public event of the summer, and will concentrate chiefly on stretch of the Cale that flows through the recreation ground, but the more people we have to help the bigger an area we can clean up! We will meet at the recreation ground car park at 9am – if you cannot attend this early, never fear, there will be an information officer posted nearby to point you in whichever direction we’ve gone should you wish to join in later. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the committee via email ([email protected]) or on the new CATCH mobile phone, 07 597 127 187,
